Pre heat a large deep skillet to medium high heat. Pat the shrimp dry with kitchen paper and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add the olive oil to the skillet then add the shrimp in a single layer. Cookm until the shrimp are pink, about 3 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Add the onion, pepper and garlic to the skillet and season with the salt and pepper. Saute until the peppers and onion are tender and beginning to caramelize, about 7 minutes. Stir from time to time.
Return the shrimp to the skillet then, add the white wine. Degalze the bottom of the skillet with a woodspoon and heat fro about 1 minute to burn off the alcohol.
Stir in the tomatoe, oregano and chili flakes. Saute for a further 2 minutes. Sprinkle with feta and basil as you serve it up.
