Great time to enjoy summer fruits

It’s that time of year when there is so much fresh fruit easily available it is hard to know what to make first. I picked this recipe for Peach Melba Squares with Blackberries, simply to take advantage of our home grown peaches and home grown blackberries. I love my thornless blackberries that we grow espalier style on the fences around the vegetable garden. They are easy to pick, just walk up and pick away. We only have a couple of peach trees but that yields plenty for our own and family use.
