    Short crust pastry with sour cream

    Ingredients

    • 2 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
    • 1 tsp Salt
    • 1 cup Butter, cubed and cold
    • 1/2 cup Sour cream
    • 2 ea Egg yolk
    • 4 tsp Water - Ice cold

    Instructions

    • In the food processor, pulse together the flour and salt.
    • Add the cubed butter and pulse to pea sized crumbs.
    • In a small bowl, mix together the sour cream, egg yolks and ice water.
    • Add the sour cream mixture to the food processor and pulse until everything comes together as a dough.
    • Shape the dough into 2 balls. Flatten each ball into a dic and wrap each one in cling film.
    • Refrigerate until firm, about an hour.
