Chicken Tikka
Ingredients
- 3 ea Chicken breast, skinless and boneless – 1" Cubes
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 ea Garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp Ginger – minced
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 tsp Coriander – ground
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric
- 1/2 tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Chilli powder – mild
- 1 pn Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 2 tbsp Canola oil
- 2 tbsp Cilantro – leaves finely chopped
Instructions
- Place the chicken pieces into a bowl with yogurt, garlic, ginger, lemon juice, coriander, turmeric, cumin, paprika, chilli powder, cinnamon, salt and pepper.
- Mix together, cover and marinate in the fridge for 2-3 hours.
- Thread onto skewers, then brush with oil.
- Cook on the barbecue for 8-10 minutes until cooked through. Altenaively cook on a griddle,
- Test for doneness then serve sprinkled with Cilantro
